10. Most "spitting" incidents are a hoax.

Spitting incidents never happen in the first place. Lets remember the first ones. Drug crazed and malnourished hippies spit on newly-released combat veterans who are wearing their uniforms. Evidently, the soldiers went home crying.

Ya right. A violent altercation would seem a more likely outcome.

I am unaware of any verified spitting incident.
