Then the real battle will begin. As the right retrenches, and the fundy preachers reprogram their sheep and the media treat us to endless Shark Eats Anna Nicole's Baby stories, the real activity will be behind the scenes. The corporations and the ultra-rich will swiftly maneuver to retain their deathgrip on the world. Most immediately, they will probably start backing DLC Dems who will push through the American Union and the mid-continental trans-American superconduit. While everyone is dancing in the streets drinking champagne, smoking strange things and throwing flower petals at each other, the Big Guys willl be grabbing it all.

I'm not counseling despair; I'm raising a call to action. The fall of the House of Bush will not be the end of our tribulations. It will only be the beginning. A terrifying trump will sound. It will be a herald, foretelling either the Crack in the Cosmic Egg or the Crack of Doom. The choice is ours.

Far too many people *just* want them out. I know many people who think that they can stop being watchful once the neocons are out. But we CAN'T.

After this shitstorm in Washington, the working class can NEVER stop watching what is being done to them. NEVER. We need to continue to push BACK, until every single person in Washington KNOWS that they work for US. NOT the corporations, not the religious right -- they work for US.

I want that so embedded into their brains that they wake up screaming and dripping sweat.
