Ever heard of the drug "cheese"?
Edited on Tue May-01-07 05:47 PM by NightWatcher
on CBS: it's a mixture of crushed up tylenol PM and black tar heroin. They snort it through an empty pen cap.

7. Not bored at all, I suspect.
More like stressed and suicidal. Truly bored people do meth or snort their methylphenidate.

2. I've heard of it
apparently it's a problem in Dallas middle schools. The local news has done quite a few stories on it in the last few months.

on TV News: it's a mixture of urban legend and race baiting. People swallow it whole with an empty mind.

19. Alright, look...
I'm sure there's some kid out there mixing tylenol with a lethal dose of heroin (and I say lethal dose of heroin, because overdoses of acetominophen don't kill you it just fucks up your liver). Maybe the same kid's trying to listen to Quadrophenia and see if it matches up to Singing in the Rain in some way. That said, for every kid out there experimenting with tylenol and heroin, there's thousands of people taking heroin, and uses acetominophen for the typical over-the-counter reasons. So why is CBS devoting a news story to it? Probably for the same bullshit reasons Anderson Cooper is giving a full week to rap music. The usual fear-mongering, kids-these-days-are-out-of-control bullshit they always do.

25. Well I don't think anyone here is arguing that point.
It's amazing that people even think to do that. The drug is evidently cut with tylenol pm though by someone, or it wouldn't even be known about.

29. I thought this was going to be like the Dangers of Bread.
More than 98 percent of convicted felons are bread eaters.
Fully HALF of all children who grow up in bread-consuming households score below average on standardized tests.
In the 18th century, when virtually all bread was baked in the home, the average life expectancy was less than 50 years; infant mortality rates were unacceptably high; many women died in childbirth; and diseases such as typhoid, yellow fever and influenza ravaged whole nations.
More than 90 percent of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread.
Bread is made from a substance called "dough." It has been proven that as little as one pound of dough can be used to suffocate a mouse. The average American eats more bread than that in one month!
Primitive tribal societies that have no bread exhibit a low occurrence of cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease and osteoporosis.
Bread has been proven to be addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water to eat begged for bread after only two days.
Bread is often a "gateway" food item, leading the user to "harder" items such as butter, jelly, peanut butter and even cold cuts.
Bread has been proven to absorb water. Since the human body is more than 90 percent water, it follows that eating bread could lead to your body being taken over by this absorptive food product, turning you into a soggy, gooey bread-pudding person.
Newborn babies can choke on bread.
Bread is baked at temperatures as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit! That kind of heat can kill an adult in less than one minute.

Most American bread eaters are utterly unable to distinguish between significant scientific fact and meaningless statistical babbling.
