5. Me, too. And they last forever.
My 2002 Rav is currently at the body shop because a tree fell on it during the last snow storm. It's so reliable, I was jubilant when the insurance company didn't total it.

6. That's right.
The '79 did 360K or so before my youngest son drove it into the side of a mountain and bent the frame. The engine is still running something else.

The '94 has about 225K, is still going strong, driven by the above (adult) son.

The '04 has almost 60K and has never needed anything more than an oil change. I'm counting on another decade out of it.

And my son loves his.

I'm angry with the way the company reacted to the problem when it was first reported, but I think they'll get past this and will continue to produce great cars.
