16. He isn't on the list
If he was, he would be silent about it.
However, there are some high profile Republicans on it and the Lapdog media is already doing some damage to control--hopefully to lessen the blow when the names are announced.

32. I agree that even people in the public eye have the right to a personal life
I would be a hypocrite to say there was a witch hunt for Clinton and Monica if I agreed to this. If there is a scandal that uncovers a conflict of interest in the way they conduct their political affairs, I say "Go get 'em." When it comes to dalliances between the sheets--ess it impacts their job--they are entitled to their privacy. Besides, I'd imagine mostly married men pay for this service and outing them just puts their family in the spotlight - undeservedly so.

Clinton should not have been asked if he "had sex with that woman." When asked he should have said "none of your business." Clients of that prostitute paid her for more than a BJ. They paid a professional to keep their transactions from being known to the public.

37. Big difference, what Clinton did wasn't a crime..
engaging a prostitute for sex constitutes a crime. Paying somebody to keep quiet about a crime is bribery.

because you pay and are a GOP pundit it is private and but if you are DEM and it is between 2 consenting adults it is an impeachable offense worthy of jail time and swearing under oath. Hate to see what gets your wire's tapped.

You aren't married are you Tucker...so why are you worried. Unless you go a different way or require 'special services'.

27. Confidentiality
Not spouses, not attorneys and clients, not psychiatrists and patients...NONE of them have absolute confidentiality, just btw. ALL have to turn in ongoing crimes. The ONLY person who has absolute confidentiality to the point of not even being required to turn in ongoing crimes...Priests...

Sorry about the aside but that really gripes me.

...and yes, hysterical, Hooker/John confidentiality...<g> I guess the Republicans are scared.

34. What? Like doctors or lawyers have a confidentiality clause
explicit in any work that they do for you, the average citizen?

I go to a doctor for whatever physical sort of evaluation.

I go to an escort service and that same confidentiality holds true? Who says so?

In a Shift, Anti-Prostitution Effort Targets Pimps and Johns

snip...

In the past, police sweeps have focused on the women. The new federal law would grant state and local law enforcement agencies funds to investigate and prosecute the men -- brothel owners and pimps. It would also target for arrest customers like the one at Kim's parlor lurching toward a girl in a bikini.

"You're out of luck," said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.), summing up the bill's message to the customers.

"The johns use and abuse these young women," said Rep. Deborah Pryce (R-Ohio). "And pimps -- you can call them slaveholders, the masters out in the field."

The attitudes of Pryce, who introduced the legislation in the House, and Cornyn, a sponsor in the Senate, reflect a shift in how the government and the public respond to the sex industry. Traditionally, women have been blamed as the source of the problem. But Pryce calls prostitution "modern-day slavery" in which teenage girls are exploited and men fuel the crime...MORE...
