and I stand with the rest of the dem reps from repub districts who voted for the health care legislation.
the hate and violence being directed at them is unconscionable.
I stand with these folks no matter how frequently I disagree with their politics.

I may not agree with his politics but the vile actions of the people threatening him and the other Congress critters should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

... because you have the ability to distinguish "right" from "wrong"
The fact that I disagree with him on many issues is irrelevant to my support for him or any other elected official that votes their conscience

At least, I hope they are cheap.

11. He may be Family- something I abhor |
|
but he also voted against the Iraq war and he's voted against funding both Afghanistan and Iraq- so he's not all bad in my book. That said, I hope to see him replaced by Saltonstall. Nevertheless, the threats directed at him are heinous and that's what I mean when I say I stand with him and against that shit.

8. That is the main difference between Democrats and Republicans |
|
when it comes to the live and liberty and believe of the other person the Democrats believe that you are entitled to that believe even tho you disagree with them.
Republicans believe that you should have no life, liberty and believe other than what they do and if you are different you deserve to be gotten rid of no matter what.
Seems to me this is what is causing all the war, violence and killings in the Middle East the radical religions want to be the ruling class and you do what they say. Could it happen here. Seems like it surely is beginning to curtest of the tea bags (KKK) and the sore looser republicans.
All you heard when people were complaining that bush blatantly stole the 2000 election from republicans were (untruthfully as it was) Gore lost get over it...something they can't see to want to do now that OBAMA WON LEGALLY.

Good to see that you now support politicians that voted for the bill. It's a step in the right direction.

20. yes, I went through a lot of disappointment with the legislation and the process |
|
so what? that has zip all to do with what I posted. Even if I still opposed the passage of the legislation, I'd have written precisely the same OP.

if his race tightens. Before this, I was advocating a primary challenge. I still disagree with him but I refuse to let the bullies win. What they are doing is despicable and I stand with Stupak and others threatened.

|
Edited on Wed Mar-24-10 08:29 PM by Kaleva
Frank, Clyburn, Stupak, Slaughter, Gabrielle Gifford, Tom Perriello and there's a few others.
Edit: Anyone know the names of all the Dems who have received threats?

against Stupak and his group.
Will progressives vote for them in November, or will they sit this one out? That's the real question.
My guess is that Stupak, especially, has pissed off pretty much everybody at this point.
