Let's Be Clear -- it is not "Republican" obstructionism
we are witnessing. Rather, it is the behavior of people being pressured and otherwise extorted by those whom they really represent -- the corporate elite. Health care reform was not supposed to pass, democracy is not really supposed to work, and I believe that the R's have no choice but to refuse to accept this outcome because their sponsors simply will not allow it.

This, IMO, is why they have abandoned all reason and any semblance of dignity. And this is why I truly am concerned that things could get very ugly. NO amount of reasoning, or appeals to accept the will of the people, will alter their position because they serve different masters who are not about to give up money and power.

5. Don't be confused... here's how it works....
..The Insurance companies charge whatever they want... they grab whatever the market will bear.

And you pay for it.

What is hard to understand?

6. Then, they return a good chunk of their profits to the Congress in the form of
bribery/lobbying, the corporate media in the form of commercial/advertising and some hospitals favored over others for the same service.

2. Let's also be clear that the corporatists are not just in the Republican party.
The reason this bill is so weak and does not include a public option is because the corporatists in the party that passed the legislation by the skin of their teeth would not allow it to be stronger. This really was the best that could be done, a giveaway to big insurance and big pharma. Sure there are a few good things in there but really, it could have and should have been a whole lot better. And it would have been but for the corporately owned members of the Democratic Party.

7. Eggs act ly... this is not a right vs left problem....
.. this is a HAVE vs HAVE NOTs problem. The Bankers want you to think that one party matters over another... no, it doesn't.

It doesn't matter which party controls Congress or Senate.. as long as the DEMS are willing to settle for whatever crumbs the Republicans will let fall on the floor.. this is what we will get.

Beyond that.. both parties are controlled by Israel Dual-citizen cabinet members in Washington.

If I am a citizen of Israel.. and I carry two passports (like Wolfowitz and Wm Kristol..) who do you think my allegiance is to?

Both Democorps and Republicorps are bought and paid for by AIPAC. Do the math.. figure it out..
