As ThinkProgress has chronicled, the passage of health care reform has resulted in a series of vandalism incidents and threats aimed at lawmakers who voted for the bill. Vandals have struck the Tuscon office of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), the Monroe County Democratic Committee headquarters in upstate New York, Rep. Louise Slaughter’s (D-NY) Niagara Falls office, the Knox County Democratic headquarters in Ohio, and the Sedgwick County Democratic Party headquarters in Wichita, KS. Now, Politico reports that Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI), an anti-abortion Democrat who held out his support for the legislation until Sunday, has received phone calls threatening his life:

The Tea Party movement is a loosely knit organization of domestic terrorists, and should be treated as such.

Round them up. Jail them, and their leaders in politics and mass media. If they wanna go down guns blazing for their conservative Christian paradise, then let them.

1. Do you remember a few months ago when the homeland security
published a report that said that they expected an increase in homegrown terrorists?

And the Right was so incensed about "accusing our own people of terrorism???"

Well. . .I guess they are proving themselve wrong and the report right!

3. It's ridiculous. I wish someone - FBI, or some such - would make an example of some of them
Watching Sarah "time to reload" Palin or Glenn "FEMA death camps" Beck being hauled off to a less-than-white-collar prison would be a good shock to their realities.

Or else it would just spawn a martyr figure for them to rally around.

7. The FBI won't touch them. The "investigation" is probably fake.
FBI is a nest of these vipers.

"ideologically" to kill another human; starting with air power in the Second Italo-Abyssinian War in 1935 and culminating in Eichmann and Hiroshima, state functionaries could target and butcher civilians calmly, unemotionally, and while keeping their heart rate under firm control. this form of air terror is favored by nation-states, as in Korea, Palestine, Lebanon, and Vietnam.

this current community of McVeighites has its soil in 60s-70s School of the Americas trainers and happy butchers in Vietnam: in the anti-UN and -Commie Raygun Years they became fanatical, hysterical quasi-government mercs and antigovernment survivalists, got into Ruby Ridge, Waco, and OKC, lay low had a government they loved under Ralph Wiggum, and are now exploding because there's a non-white "Muslim" "foreigner" in the WH, who got a bill passed with several Black votes

these two horrid strands of evil keep intertwining and influencing each other, and are the turnk of the tree of American evil; pile atop this politcal apathy, gun/tobacco/meat-clutching sheer reactionaries, unprogressive foot-dragging bishops, people who think that 95% of abortuses have big helpless doe eyes and grasping hands, a party that's part folders, part Reagan-Bush corporatists and conservatives, and part lefties who can be made to fold if they're the swing votes on something "on which the party's reputation rides," no mass left wing or Deep Greens, and Emanuel's elitist antidemocratic inverted totalitarians, and you would have a BIG honking problem even if the country weren't facing huge and simultaneous ecological, food, employment, debt, deficit, and war crises
