Markey threatened over health care vote
http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=135242&catid=339

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A Colorado member of Congress has received threatening calls at her Washington office, according to NBC News. Rep. Betsy Markey's (D-Colorado) chief of staff confirmed her office had reported two separate incidents to the Capitol police and asked Fort Collins police to step up patrols around Markey's home and her district office.

Anne Caprara said the calls came on Saturday before the House cast its final vote on health care reform. She said in the first, the caller said to one of Markey's staff members, "better hope I don't run into you in a dark alley with a knife, a club or a gun."

In another instance, a caller said something like "better tell your boss that she better be careful when she comes back here to Colorado."

1. I thought it was my congressman, and I was surprised because we are a very liberal district.
Two different Markey. Mine is MA-7.

2. Ft. Collins used to be liberal. I am deeply embarrassed for my former hometown.

3. Isnt Markey on Palin's list?
Her district is a tough one, the reason Palin had it in the cross hairs. El Paso Country I believe, Focus on the Family neighborhood.

5. She's not El Paso. She's the eastern plains, or West Kansas.
El Paso Co. is Co Springs. and that's already well represented by a whack job, Doug Lamborn.

The other in Palin's gun sights is the Western Slope, or District 3, being held by Ken Salazar's brother, John (who's a Blue Dog).

7. She did. Marilyn Musgrave.
And that woman is so bitter she will never concede. Musgrave was district 4.
