Days after word got out in the media that Jesse James had been cheating on wife Sandra Bullock with a tattoo and occasional glamour model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, pics of her in a Nazi-themed photoshoot emerged. Shortly after, rumors started to pick up that a similar photo, this time with Jesse James, might exist as well. Crushable has an explanation for that.

Though the shock of trying to figure out why James would cheat on Sandra Bullock with a woman who liked to dress up as a Nazi and do the Nazi salute was great at first, perhaps the world shouldn’t be so surprised, says the aforementioned e-zine. Jesse James’ ties to Nazi and white power groups go way back, from when he was married to his ex, Janine Lindemulder, who is now the wife of a skinhead, says the report.

“(Janine Lindemulder) is currently married to Jeremy Aikman, who is said to be ‘an admitted skinhead.’ Aikman goes by the name ‘Lefty’ on his MySpace page (which is private), and his last status update on Wednesday said, ‘What goes around comes around.’ Could that be a dig against Jesse?” says the report. It is true that this article makes a huge leap to connect the nazi dots. However, the article leaves out lots of information for brevity or an assumption that you've already read about James' other nazi connections.

We know his mistress has a few nazi-esque tendencies, was a model for Angry White Girl clothing, and has initials WP tattooed on her legs which everyone but McGee states stands for white power (including "sources close to her"). Although you don't have to be a racist to have a sexual affair with her (she's HOT!), it certainly helps.

Add to that James' photos wearing nazi shindigs. When you finally piece together Janine's attraction to skinheads, you may see it's much more likely that her type of guy didn't dramatically change, ie James' is a white supremacist as well.

This isn't the court of law, it's the court of public opinion. Those of us who have experienced meeting white supremacists in all their glory are more apt to put more weight on a small amount of evidence. (After all, not joking, some encounters with white supremacists have led to death.) It works because most people who aren't into nazi beliefs don't mistakenly take photos of themselves wearing nazi stuff or date openly racist neo-nazis.

As I understand it, the photos of him with nazi gear and salute are only rumored. So there's really no evidence yet of a "connection," other than that the woman he was cheating with.

Given the fact that the Nazis produced some of the finest armored fighting vehicles and aircraft of the war, any serious modeler is going to build examples of the Nazi war machine. And that does not, by any stretch of the imagination make that modeler a Nazi. Any more than making models of the Soviet T-34 tank (THE best tank of the war), or the IL-2 Sturmovik tank killer aircraft make someone a Communist.
