2. And again
turning the aggressors into victims. It is so much easier than accepting what is going on and trying to change it. :puke:

17. Yep- playing the victim card is a very common tactic with right wing media figures
in this guy's case it's particularly hypocritical, seeing as how there's this curious question of a dead intern in his office...

...that happened around the same time period as a Democrats was hounded every day about a missing intern.

4. I saw that, what a tool as usual
It's part of his "both sides are equally bad" meme, that he often has no examples of. Yesterday when he was talking to Katrina and Katrina mentioned Beck, etc, Scarborough said "Welllllll, certain people on the LEFT were trying to claim that W was responsible for 9/11!!! CERTAIN PEOPLE on....other networks? Air America!" Nice try.

7. So don't stop there, Joe. C'mon, tell us all about it.
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 07:21 AM by chill_wind
Tell us all about your 5 days running (so far) of getting spit on, death threats to your kids, your home property invaded and your gas lines cut, all your faxes of noose images, all your colleagues' headquarters offices around the country getting shot up with pellet guns and bricks.

C'mon Joe. Now's the time. Keeping secrets like that is so unhealthy.

8. That's because lefties rarely threaten anyone with anything.
If you need proof, look to Washington. They only take their spines out of the closet for very special occasions. And I don't know anyone on the left who is buying guns, hoarding ammunition and investing in MREs.

How many Republicans got anthrax in the mail?

27. He was scheduled to meet with the couple who discovered her body.
But he arranged to be safely miles away. He was having an affair and his wife divorced over it. Then the bastard claimed he was quiting congress to spend more time with his family. After reading extensively about the investigation, or rather the lack of investigation, the concept that he arranged for her murder should still be investigated. He thinks that he is so safe from being investigated that he now jokes about it. The autopsy was a total sham and her body should be reexamined by experts.

13. Joe embraces his narcissism. It's a bigger case than anyone else's narcissism, of course.
I noticed this way back and turned him off. Whatever happened to anyone else, it happened to him more. If you've had it good, he's had it better. If you've suffered, he suffered more.

So it stands to reason that he's smarter than the rest of us, since he's a higher being. If "his" side is throwing out threats and violence, that could be nothing compared to the hate that must have victimized old Joe, but I'm sure he imagines he handled it all with stoic heroics and a graciousness peculiar to JOE. I lives in a fantasy world that revolves around JOE.

Notice how they glossed over the actual incidents of violence and focused on the voicemail messages.

We're waiting...c'mon Joe, tell us about the threats, tell us which Republicans are getting the threats, we're listening...you're the one with the show...well?...can you give us a timeline...we'll even let you go back 10 years, if you'd like...we want to know...

No wait. You didn't have to go all the way back to the sixties did you?

21. MAYBE BECAUSE REPUBLICANS HAVE NEVER RECEIVED
THESE TYPE OF THREATS. Did he ever think of that. We Democrats are not a bunch of racist, radical, full of hate and violence people. But if you want to look at the situation we have more reason to be, but are not.

23. Joe's reaction to any discussion that may point a finger at the repugs
is to react as if he is in a school yard. No substance at all.
He, along with his colleagues, are becoming complacent in their disregard for a serious issue.

Why aren't you doing your job and reporting those threats, Joe? Seems like you'd be a safe place for that to happen. Where are those threats? Can you list them?
