Do they realize that they are wasting time and money on political posturing....and that they are doing nothing more than pulling out all the stops from preventing people in need from getting what they deserve?

How is this not the most stoooopid political move in history?

What am I missing?

2. corporate control of the media. if they block things from getting done...
the media will dutifully call the Democrats a do nothing Congress and leave out the GOP obstruction when the election will roll around.

3. It should be
they have been whiny-ass little babies. We SHOULD be able to exploit the hell out of that and expose them for the fakes they are. That said, I'm hoping the guys running the campaigns actually use the Rights actions against them.

4. Every one of the Amendments they are proposing are worded to be Campaign Ads and nothing else
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 12:20 PM by ThomWV
They know that Democrats can not vote for any of the Amendments because of they do the bill then bounces back to the House to see how they feel about the change - which would be a return to mayhem. So Republicans are making Amendments of perfectly sensible things, many of which Democrats would normally support, and most of which in fact would never received a single Republican Vote were they to be introduced as single stand-alone bills to amend the existing bill, something they will never do. It is a great sham, done only to use as an embarrassment to Democrats in November.

It will not work. It is the height of obstruction, and no one gets elected to do nothing.
