the destruction, we would have made progress as 21st century citizens. 9/11 would probably not have happened. We would be well on the way to being energy independent. Global warming would be addressed and the environment would be healing. We would not be in two illegal and immoral wars and there would be a very small deficit, if there was one at all.

We would have universal healthcare, probably single-payer, in the country. More than 450,000 Americans would not be dead from lack of healthcare.

I could go on and on but I'm getting depressed.
