Perriello's brother attacked after Tea Party posts wrong address for health care protest
A number of federal legislators are under tighter security because of threats they've received since Sunday.

While his organization doesn't condone such behavior, National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Andy Sere said Perriello is not the victim.

"Central and Southside Virginians are the ones who are going to have the bear the burden of increased taxes," he said. "What you're seeing is a frustration among his constituents who believe he's not listening to them."

Of his health care vote, Perriello said:

"At the end of the day, this decision for me came down to whether working families would see savings at the kitchen table," Perriello said Sunday. "They will. As I have heard from our major hospitals that endorsed this bill, this legislation will improve health care and bring down costs for Virginians."

Because of his vote, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin listed Perriello as one of 20 races she'll be paying "particular attention" to make sure the incumbents are replaced with "Commonsense Conservatives," she wrote Tuesday on her Facebook page. The 20 targeted seats are held by Democrats in districts that she and presidential candidate John McCain won in 2008.

Fifth District Republican candidates hoping to oppose Perriello in the November election were ready less than 24 hours after the vote with statements and protests.

2. He's acting as an apologist for scum like Nigel Coleman
who is the Danville nutbagger who helped publicize Perriello's brother's address for other nutbaggers to vandalize.

I want them to reap what they're sowing, soon and publicly, please.

4. What is all this bullshit about
Democrats not listening to their constituents? Just because they don't cave in and do what some of their constituents want doesn't mean they didn't hear them. None of us get to dictate to our representatives what they will and won't support. We can make our opinions known but that doesn't obligate the representative to agree. I know every time I wrote a republican senator or congressman I got a letter saying "thanks for your thoughts, but no thanks, I'm going to do what I want." I didn't get all violent about it.
