Tweety Just Showed The Clip Of The Congressmen Up On The Balcony Of The Capitol........
holding a yellow flag and cheering on the protesters. Has anyone in MSM identified these Congressmen & one woman and interviewed them on the air to ask what they were doing? Why they were doing it? What did they think they would accomplish by doing this? and did they think that they were condoning the violent tactics used by this bunch?

Surely there must be a still picture of these Congressmen. Let's get it posted and lets identify them and call them out.

7. That's Not A Pic Of The Clip I Just Saw On Tweety's Hardball.....
given that these Congresscritters did a similar thing - it appears that not just a handful of Repug Congresscritters were involved in this. These people need to be identified and they need to be confronted by MSM as to why they were involved in this.

There still is the clip of the group waving the yellow flag on the balcony that needs to be posted.

10. That would've been a "Don't Tread on Me" Flag
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 04:28 PM by RamboLiberal

Rep. Geoff Davis hangs “Don’t Tread On Me” flag from the 2nd floor balcony of the U.S. Capitol

Other Republicans were doing their best to rev up the crowd outside, which has grown to more than a thousand people throughout the afternoon. Rep. Geoff Davis, R-Ky., joined a small group of Republicans who borrowed a "Don't Tread on Me" flag from a tea partier, then took it up to a balcony on the second floor of the Capitol, just off the House floor, and waved it for protesters to see.

Afterward, Davis came down and returned the flag. "This is a demonstration of the people of our republic expressing, frankly, their fear of their own government, at the attempt to take over a system that belongs to the private citizens," he told me and the Washington Post's Perry Bacon. "I wish we had a million people here instead of the ones that we've got." (Davis, of course, is the charming fellow who referred to President Obama during the 2008 campaign as "that boy," then had to issue an apologetic press release.)

The GOP is walking a fine line here. On the one hand, Republicans don't want to be held accountable for the people who called John Lewis "nigger." On the other hand, they're perfectly happy to encourage the anti-government impulses that have led people to camp out outside the Capitol all weekend. If Republicans do wind up taking over a majority in Congress, it's not entirely clear how they'll keep that anti-government fervor in check.

9. Here's a reference to the event:
Rep. Cantor: Attacks Dems as ‘Reprehensible,’ ‘Reckless’ Using ‘Threats as Political Weapons’
March 25, 2010

~snip~
And over the weekend, said Clyburn, the whole world saw what happened, when Republican lawmakers stood up and cheered when tea party hecklers disrupted a session of Congress and when Republicans left the House session to stand on an outside balcony to wave a Gadsden flag, egging on the unruly tea party protesters below. The day before, the tea party protesters abused Democratic lawmakers, using racial and anti-gay slurs and spitting on one lawmaker.

12. You should have seen the one where they held up Peaker Polosi's pic
and slapped it around and did a cut at the neck motion.
There's a video of this. Yes, these were Congresspeople!

I saw it on CNN last night on AC360...that I forced myself to watch.

It was disgraceful.

I notice none of the news media are showing this footage today,
nor are talking about it.

13. Identities
Later, Republicans encouraged the protests. First Rep. Buck McKeon, R-Calif., came out onto the balcony, pumping his fist in the air and holding a sign that said "KILL." After him came Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, with a "THE" sign and Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, with "BILL." The crowd went wild.

Next came Reps. Mary Fallin, R-Okla., Geoff Davis, R-Ky., and Bill Posey, R-Fla., holding the "Don't tread on me" flag. Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, came out with hand-lettered signs spelling "K-I-L-L T-H-E B-I-L-L." Sessions was joined on the balcony by Reps. Steve King, R-Iowa, Greg Walden, R-Ore., Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., Jean Schmidt, R-Ohio, Dan Lungren, R-Calif., and many more.

16. Where Did They Get The "Don't Tread On Me" Flag?......
they had to have it on the floor of the House. They had to carry it in. I guess that's the video I saw on Tweety's show.

Here is another video that I came across searching for the Congressmen with the yellow flag.

A woman goes berserk around 2:20 into it. Nasty people. Surprised there wasn't violence in the crowd that day.

Now that we have the names of these Congressmen - we need someone to interview them and find out why they did what they did and did they bring the flag into the House with them.

14. The frat boys put on quite a show on the balcony. Here are some names.
Edited on Thu Mar-25-10 04:44 PM by chill_wind

As a group of several hundred protesters on the lawn of the Capitol shouted "No! No! No!" "Nancy, you will burn in hell for this!" and "Kill the bill!" rank-and-file Republican lawmakers came out to the balcony off the House floor in the midst of a series of procedural votes. Two different trios of GOP lawmakers, including Rep. Tom Latham (Iowa) and Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (Mo.), waved signs with the words "Kill" "The" and "Bill" as the crowd cheered.

The crowd booed as Rep. John Carter (R-Tex.) held up his copy of the legislation, which is more than 2,000 pages long, and loudly cheered as Rep. Geoff Davis (R-Ky.) waved a "Don't Tread on Me" flag.

From WAPO on Sunday.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/21/AR2010032102172.html?hpid=topnews

I read a similar account here somewhere yesterday that words Kill. The. Bill. were each on separate signs
(for emphasis and effect) and they took turns parading them up to the balcony edge and pumping their fists in the air for the crowd.

It also cited a Republican lawmaker inside working at a desk who looked up and asked them what they were doing and if they were trying to incite a riot. I don't remember the R's name.

22. Here:
...

That would have been the end of it, had Republican lawmakers not stirred things up. First Reps. Buck McKeon (Calif.), Rob Bishop (Utah) and Mike Turner (Ohio) came out waving signs saying "KILL THE BILL." The crowd went wild. Reps. Mary Fallin (Okla.), Geoff Davis (Ky.) and Bill Posey (Fla.) held the "Don't Tread on Me" flag, and Rep. Pete Sessions (Tex.), head of the House Republicans' 2010 campaign committee, came out with half a dozen colleagues and more kill-the-bill signs. Rep. Jeff Miller (Fla.) dangled an American flag from the balcony.

"That's kind of fun," Fallin said cheerfully after a turn at riling the crowd with signs saying "No" in red letters.

channels need to get them on their stations and interview them. Make them account for what they did. We should demand an apology from them for inciting violence and conduct unbecoming of a Congressperson.

They were fueling the fires of violence that led to the violent acts that were committed over the last few days. Hard for them to blame that on the Dems. I didn't see any Dems out on the balcony.
