A message from Greg Palast.
I'm just back from the Palast event here in NYC and haven't even opened to the new chapters in his paperback edition of Armed Madhouse but Greg had a message:
Buy or borrow the book and put passages, whole chapters, whatever you want online and spread the message virally. He wants the voter suppression material and Rove's 2008 plans particularly, out on the internet from as many directions as possible. No copyright problems with this. Seriously. I will post some of it tomorrow.
As for the event, it was great. Greg was great, Randi fabulous and RFK jr. gave a barnburner of a speech (and was in relatively good voice, too).

3. I'd be more than happy to do that, but I have the first issue of his book.
I've just started reading it, but I suspect it doesn't have anything about the 08 election in it.

Sorr Greg, but I can't afford to buy every issue of all the books I'd live to read.

7. I bought the new version of the book.
I'll happily, if there are no copyright problems, send the chapters, several pages at a time, to anyone who asks me.

8. Go, Greg, GO!!!
I'll get behind him in every way I can. Greg Palast is Number One Investigative Journalist we have left.

He is an inspiration to me.

One lovely night in Austin in 2003 he stayed right beneath me in a hotel and I got to meet him the next morning at breakfast.

I love Greg Palast.

He is a true American Patriot. He is our times Paul Revere.]

Peace

He was so dead-on, and a great speaker! Why can't he get an audience with our congresscritters?

That would make it easier and make me feel safer reproducing it.

18. He said that on Alex Bennett yesterday morning also...
I was in the car while he was being interviewed on the Alex Bennett show on Sirius Left, and he said that exact thing - he said if you wanted to make copies of the whole book and give them to people that it was okay with him. He wants the information spread, and spread widely.

just start a thread. I have Lotus WordPro, which I love, but it doesn't seem to want to cooperate in that way.

26. Kicking again.
I've read a couple chapters of Armed Madhouse. Admittedly, it's a difficult book for me to read because it pisses me off like you wouldn't believe - I'll read about anything from vote suppression to No Child's Behind Left to the sections on class warfare, and I'll be up, stomping around, >< this close to throwing things and hitting things, yelling curses that would make a Marine blush.
