1. BTW, I KNOW THAT the rep from TX is lying about his caring about

mandate without public option, it's just a ploy to look good and obstruct. But it was really creepy, I had to look twice to assure it was a repub.

...and I have written a few letters to him about the PO and HCR. Of course, I never expected it to do any good, and it probably didn't, but it was my way to vent. Since he's a republican, I never bothered to follow his campaign. Around here, I have close friends who had to change parties just to get elected to local office. It's that red! We have some good people serving, they are just republican out of necessity more than ideology. It's still "good ole boy" politics in small town Texas! Sure makes voting easy, I never have to wait!
