GOP craziness spreads to the state house; MO rep shouts "LIAR" at a Dem rep
Video: http://www.connectmidmissouri.com/news/video.aspx?id=434837

Lawmakers reportedly had to hold by Rep. Jeff Roorda, a Barnhart Democrat, and Rep. Tim Jones, a Eureka Republican. Roorda was speaking before the House, raising his voice (Fired Up! Missouri has 12 minutes of audio) when Jones reportedly started yelling, "You're a liar!," pointing and trying to get to Roorda. Lawmakers separated the men.

2. It's almost as if they think they've been given permission to act like
assholes publicly. Very sad.

12. I don't think they know how to act ~ they can only react.
And they react badly.

5. Those assholes behaved like this in front of children
They should be ashamed of themselves for this kind of childish playground behavior in front of a group of visiting school children.

Adult men shout at each as if it were a game of kickball. Nice role models.

And politicians want to tell teachers how to do their jobs. This is rich.

13. One year one of the repukes in Jeff City made fart noises and siren sounds
while they were arguing over the budget. I emailed him and told him I taught special ed in MO and my students behaved better in public than he did.

6. Do you people ever watch any other deliberative body on the planet?
This happens everywhere, all the time, for all of history. It really isn't that shocking.

15. Not shocking, more like disgusting.
Because some think it is common place, (it isn't) that does not mean that it is acceptable behavior.

Especially from elected representatives and especially in front of school children.

14. Do Republicans work at all?
No debates, no sharing ideas, etc. Just NO NO NO NO then takes money from corporations, then act like spoiled rich kids. They're so unprofessional, unethical that it's embarrassing. They even encourage violence. They're NOT qualified to work at the Whitehouse for American people at all. They don't even read bills.

All they do is lockstep marching...all of them Republicans as we can see how they voted on Health Care. Not one aye. I honestly believe that most people who support/vote for GOPers are mentally ill.
