AND DLC/pro-corporate Dems should WANT THE MANDATE REPEALED because: |
|
Obviously, the Repubs will be spearheading this battle.
Obviously, this will piss off Big Insurance, who will flood Dem campaign coffers with cash.

3. So, I take it you're actually in favor of the mandates? |
|
How could that possibly be?
Tell me straight- were you in favor of mandates during the primaries?
Or another- would you have been in favor of mandates if it had been Bush pushing them?
Seriously?

4. Don't expect an answer. |
|
They never answer questions that reveal the flip flopping that went on in order for them to keep up with the 'message discipliners' from the DLC.
I can't count the number of times I've tried to get those who support this bill but never want to discuss how it came about that people who cheered last year for the PO, suddenly changed their minds, and the only way they could deal with those who didn't, was to try the usual avoidance tactics of insults and smears against good Democrats like Kucinich. But never once has any one of them answer questions like yours logically. Because there is no logic to being willing to just follow the party, right or wrong.

6. excuse me, honeypie? I certainly did respond. And your "they" dog shit |
|
is just that- a stinking pile that you so gracelessly deposited.
And I've spent quite a bit of time defending Dennis on this board. Take your disgusting generalization and for shit phony accusations and do something, uh, useful with them, dear heart.

5. I suppose I'm more opposed than in favor but I'd rather the legislation passed with mandates |
|
than didn't pass at all. it's that simple. Of course that has nothing to do with my prediction that the mandates aren't going to be taken out anytime soon.

2. I like to think of the mandate as |
|
The "PULLING YOURSELF UP BY THE BOOTSTRAPS" clause. Back when the Republicans had a mandate, then it wasn't so bad. My how times change.
