The left is going to go nuts-Limbaugh |
|
I remember when Limbaugh made the pronouncement after Bush was selected that this was when the left was going to go nuts. That when the left lost all"power" that they wouldn't be able to handle it. What we did was just the opposite. Because many of the left have been underdogs a great deal of their lives(especially the minorities), we knew how to handle the disappointment because we have been in this situation before. We know how to handle adversity and we knew how to dig down to a place most of the right wing just imagines. We took a smart and disciplined approach to fight the evil. We organized and came out on top and now I believe we are leading.
On the other side the right has flipped out. They don't know how to handle adversity and they are flailing in all directions. it is a pleasure to watch the insanity.

2. Strangely, I don't find much pleasure it in. |

They whip their lemming followers up into a frenzy and as we've seen throughout history, it's a recipe for violence. Confirmed yet again. A lot of these people are fucking scary and truly feel threatened because that's what they've been told. Dangerous mix.

...they are in a total melt down. Along with the female airheads like Backman and Palin. Seems like that is what the majority of the teabaggers are ~~ what most know as PWT.

7. The tea naggers failed! |
|
The tea bag party thought fighting adversity meant going radical. It has been a miserable failure for the activist of the republican party. That's what the tea naggers are, the activists. The rest of the party are conservatives who are prone to vote for the republican agenda, no matter what. The naggers are the ones who promote violence, lies, and will do anything to get attention. They got attention, but it hurt their cause more than helped it. They should fire whoever came up with the idea, and those who promoted it...the Glenn Becks and Ass Pimplebaughs of the world. Beck and Pimplebaugh enjoyed eging these poor bastards on. They screamed, cried, begged, and cheered them on when they ramped up the rhetoric to the point of violence. Pimplebaugh and Beck should be imprisoned under the Patriot Act, you know, the one they tried so valiantly to defend. It would do the Americans right by removing these cancers from the air waves. They do not promote conservative ideas, they only exacerbate the ire of foolish republican activists......and handed them their first defeat. The naggers are 0-1. They have no victories, although they were able to get more than a handful of participants in one or two rallies. Morans!

8. The Collapse of The "Shiny City On The Hill" |
|
For 30 years, the GOOP has cultivated this image of being the "adults"...fiscally responsible and strong on defense. St. Raygun was the personification of this ideal of individualism and strength...or so the narrative goes. It was a world crafted by the party and pushed on the media that was subtle but effective. It pushed Democrats into the defensive on virtually every front...morals, economics, defense and in turn pushed the media narrative further to the right. This ruse worked well as long as there were Democrats in power or to demonize...the roadblocks in the way to the "perfect world".
That all came crashing down when the GOOP took total control with the selection of boooosh and the 2002 elections. To use the worn-out metaphor...9/11 changed everything. Booooosh waged two wars, busted the budget and turned the federal government into a kleptocracy. It got so bad that even his own coven disowned him...claiming he wasn't "conservative enough". The moderates never stood a chance.
Now that the GOOP has been repudiated loudly in two elections and find themselves totally out of power, all they have left if their rhetoric. They have a record of failure people aren't too soon to forget. All that's left is the core value that holds this corrupt party together...hate and fear. It's a strategy of weakness not strength and shows how devoid this party is of real leadership.
Rushbo is filling a power vacuum and taking it to the bank. He can spew his bile with no fear of retribution as the more outrageous he is, the more publicity his radio show gets that attracts ears to a dying medium. His bosses can't get enough. Others follow and its dragging the entire party with it...off the abyss. So let Rushbo blow up daily...rant, threaten, cajole...it's further alienating not strengthing his corrupt party.

the history of the left movement has been peaceful marches and protests. There are some radical leftists in the past that advocated violence but I think we learned from those mistakes that it just turns the general apolitical public against you.
