I mean, it's pretty cut-and-dried.

1) Cantor says office shot at. Police report showed that shot was randomly fired up into the air and hit window coming back down.

2) It's not even HIS office but a consulting firm that does work for dozens of clients, that was hit by the random bullet returning to Earth.

Because of it's deep commitment to getting it's facts straight, I assume the Corporate-Controlled M$M will be getting these corrections out ASAP and wondering about the convenient timing of such falsifications by Cantor.

Sorry, I am feeling the same lunatic irony a dissenter in the Soviet Union in 1975 would feel when faced with a similarly controlled media.

2. I heard someone on MSNBC earlier say that...
... the bullet was fired from a long way off and came down through the window in its downward arc. BUT, we can completely rule out that it wasn't intended for Cantor's office.

That's as close as they are going to get.

3. It's because the Rushpublics and Teabaggers are the most moral among us, they're so gosh-darned
moral that Cantor MUST have made an "honest mistake" and it wouldn't be right to talk about it.

4. Expect the Liberal Media to run with it 24/7
Ok well Amy Goodman might run a story on it, but not 24/7.

11. Ahem, Google News search "Cantor lied"
http://news.google.com/news/search?aq=f&pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&hl=en&q=Cantor+lied

http://news.google.com/news/more?pz=1&cf=all&ned=us&cf=all&ncl=dJygTVUbZ3wOtJMVnabM6-RYu4AuM

So, we have a couple of blogs, the COMMENTS section of a CBS story, Newt's accusations that "the Jews are responsible for inciting Nazi violence".

Oh, and a hugely bolded Cantor quote based on the odious lie he told!

Yep, the Corporate-Controlled M$M is sure getting the word out!

14. LOL... you and I don't use google news if possible
because we know its filtered.

My search came up with 10 pages, so the story is growing.

Hell even your thread added another page to the search.

6. In his mind he really believed it was true, so technically he didn't lie.
Even my 12 yr. old son knows better than to try and pull that one over his momma!

8. The only correction I've heard of here today
is the account of Joe Scar's producer factually correcting him thru Mika on air.
He'll be back to obsessing and spinning it some other way tomorrow.

12. They'll take a statement from Cantor about how he caught the bullet in his teeth to save 3 kids.
Glenn Beck will cry & CNN will have a panel discussion (Ben Stein, Penn & Teller & a token Dem) about installing bullet-proof glass in Congressional office buildings.

13. I heard it twice on NPR/NYC this morning.
But I doubt if MSNBC or CNN will report it. They seem to be so much in love with the story to begin with. Even though it didn't sound right they repeated Canter's version all day. yesterday Dylan Ratigan couldn't stop talking about poor Eric's bullet even after it had already been discredited. I'm sure he must have known it was a lie already.
