So, who's still advertising on Beck? March 25 edition
March 25, 2010 6:43 pm ET by Media Matters staff

At least 80 advertisers have reportedly dropped their ads from Glenn Beck's Fox News program since he called President Obama a "racist" who has a "deep-seated hatred for white people." Here are his March 25 sponsors, in the order they appeared:

U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform
Zero Water
Rosland Capital
Lifestyle Lift
Merit Financial
Lear Capital
Carbonite
FREIJE Treatment Systems (EasyWater)
Lifelock
Sokolove LLC
News Corp. (The O'Reilly Factor)
International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
Tax Masters
Quietus Ear Health
FloodSmart.gov
Jewelry Exchange
News Corp. (On The Record)
Rosland Capital
Lifestyle Lift
News Corp. (Fox News Sunday)
DirecTV
BMW
Credit Card & Debt Relief Helpline
American Petroleum Institute
News Corp. (Wall Street Journal)
Zero Water
Goldline International, Inc.
American Advisors Group

Anyone interested in buying a BMW? It's in perfect condition, except that it has a tendency to pull sharply to the right. It comes with the factory mounted swastika and the dealership Glenn Beck biography. The gun rack took a little damage when i was fooling around with my sister the other night and my white hood got all tangled up. Please pay in gold.

2. We should let Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller
know, to stop promoting Carbonite.

4. I'm a little amazed that the wingers would advertise Carbonite -
if I understand it correctly, it provides off-site backup for everything on your computer. In otherwords, THEY KEEP A COPY OF EVERYTHING ON YOUR COMPUTER.

If I was an anti-government paranoid teabagger, the last thing I'd want is to have some place where the government could access everything on my computer without me knowing it.

Am I wrong?

7. I just tweeted:
Folks, don't use @CarboniteBackup - they advertise on Glenn Beck now.

Feel free to RT it and get the word out.

6. Some information:
These should be considered promos, since they're for programs or other projects of the network's parent company:

News Corp. (The O'Reilly Factor)
News Corp. (On The Record)
News Corp. (Fox News Sunday)
DirecTV
News Corp. (Wall Street Journal)

These are "per-inquiry" spots where the network gets paid based upon response to the ad. These are commonly used as fillers when networks or stations don't have enough actual ads to fill a slot.

Zero Water
Lifestyle Lift
Merit Financial
Lifelock
Sokolove LLC
Credit Card & Debt Relief Helpline

And THIS is a Public Service Announcement, only run when you don't have enough paid spots, per-inquiries, OR promos to fill a slot:

FloodSmart.gov

This means that, at best, Beck only has 12 paying sponsors on his show. And who knows how many of those are "run of schedule" ads where the agency just wants the spot on the channel and doesn't care where it airs, or "bonus" plays given by the network for free to people who buy elsewhere to (once again) fill unsold air time.

Keep up the pressure.
