I am impressed with our Senatorial Candidate, Richard Blumenthal
I checked his bio for his academic standing:

Richard graduated from Harvard College (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude), and Yale Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Law Journal.

Compare with with Obama, who graduated from the Harvard Law School, Magna Cum Laude, and was editpr pf the Harvard Law Review.

1. Blumenthal also has faught for the "little" person for a long time in CT
against companies that were doing something wrong. He is incredibly popular here (approval ratings in the 70's in most polls I have seen). He will be our next Senator. I don't see enough people taking Linda McMahon seriously.

2. Her ads are driving me nuts. I can't get to the "mute" button fast enough.
I just briefly saw a reference to a new book, revealing how badly her performers were treated and drugged...waiting to see if it will be a big scandale. Hope so.

BTW, a few weeks ago she was on Morning Joe and Lawrence O'Donnell started taking her apart on the drugging issue. It was a real pleasure to watch...hopeyou saw it...

3. The McMahons are the farthest thing from being upstanding citizens.
When you see all of those that died, one must that it would only be just if it was their (the McMahon's) son who died instead.

5. Well, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Owen Hart...it goes on and on.

Vince played a part in all of their deaths by pushing the steroids and by not caring about safety.

4. My husband came home the other day and said Stephanie McMahon is in one of them.
Sure enough, I saw it the next day. The whole McMahon family is like fingernails on a chalk board....and I was a wrestling fan for years. I stopped watching after it became clear Vince and his family only cared about money, not about the welfare of the wrestlers.

6. I do not want to stir controversy, so how to put this nicely
McMahon's daughter is very masculine and their son very feminine. With that said, the entire family are freaks.

8. Well, Stephanie obviously got into the steroids after getting involved with HHH.

(aka Paul Levesque). She looked a lot more normal 10 years ago.

7. There was a poll done recently here...
I can't remember who did it but they questioned people about whether they would vote for her and many respondents (including Republicans) stated that they could not take her seriously considering all the clowning around she has done on Monday Night wrestling.

I kind of wish Simmons had more money. He did bring to light the steroid use. I'd like to see a Republican do most of the dirty work.

There must be tons of tapes of her clowning around the wrestling rink so Blumenthal could use those.

As for her ads this latest one is sooo STOOOOPID!
