As he leaves for a two week vacation he blocked the extension of unemployment benefits for the jobless. Effectively what that means is that for some there will be scant food for the dinner table and don’t even think about lunch or breakfast. For the lucky those will be kids only meals. And Senator Coburn? How much food will his family consume over the break thanks to his paid position at the public trough? A nice big ham and all the fixings for Easter dinner…and how many dozens of eggs, loves of bread, slices of bacon and gallons of orange juice? It would make an interesting comparison seeing those grocery lists put up side by side.

1. ..it is outrageous.. this is what America has come to... |

Senators Coburn and Bunning... filled with hatred and religious dogma while worshiping at the alter of money.
They don't care if Americans go hungry... they have their free money and perks they suck off the public nipple.
I read today where they won't approve $10 Billion for unemployment.. yet they fall all over themselves in a hurry to hand over $33 Billion for the Afghan war... no problem there.
Hypocrite doesn't even begin to describe these people. Somethings gotta give....

And they, he and Cunning apparently gain a great deal of self satisfaction from their stance. Bunning doesn't look like he misses a meal either. Is this "The Family's" version of family values as Coburn is seemingly a member of that group?
And thanks for responding, I was sure this thread was destined for obscurity.
