1. They've been saying that here in Australia for months . . .
And I ended up keeping my job when I was pretty sure they were going to send me home. My fingers are crossed. If things proceed the way they have over the last few weeks, November is going to be very, very good to us.

3. I've had job offers from two different companies in the last few months.
I'm currently working for one of them. I'm still getting calls and emails from others (not offers, but people showing interest). Something is definitely up. The interest is coming mostly from private businesses rather than public corporations, which I find interesting.
