It's been so nice to see these Steph threads over the past few days.

Such a stark contrast to what was the nearly daily bitch fest over Imus where someone would kvetch or praise him for some comment and the first response was invariably something like, "why do you even bother watching him. . .?"

You could almost set the clock by it.

Truly hope they keep Steph. She's clearly having a blast.

that Iraq had something to do with 9/11..." in spite of Stephanie reminding her several times that Bush himself had said Iraq had nothing to do with it.

It's been wonderful watching her and she's done so great with callers from all sides of the political spectrum. MKJ

Dear Mr. Abrams,

I'm sure you may recall Jon Stewart's comment on Crossfire when he
said "stop it you are hurting America" to Tucker Carlson (and I forget
who else) regarding their dumbed down intractable shouting matches
wherein the fallacy was continually perpetuated that this land once lauded and
revered as "the land of the lively discussion" can only possibly be
represented by two limited points of view.

Well by giving Stephanie Miller Imus's old slot for 3 days, you have
helped America in a way that resonates with probably far more than 70%
of the population.

Please, please, please. . .enable her to share her smart, savvy,
funny, insights with a national audience on a regular basis. She is
truly a national treasure who fully has earned, and is more than
worthy of a continuance of this opportunity to share her astute wisdom
and delightful smile.

27. Great letter

It won't be the only one Dan and the rest will get either.

I was actually getting up early this week (much to the confusion of my dogs and the chagrin of my husband) to watch Steph on MSNBC. It was a breath of fresh air. I will admit it was weird watching Steph instead of CSPAN, old habits die hard but Steph in the morning is something I could definitely get used to.

I'll miss having something interesting to watch/listen to in early morning. Our local AAR affiliate broadcasts Bill Press at that time and unfortunately, he has an L-Tryptophan-like effect on me. :boring:

28. Two problems with Stephanie's show are

1) It's over and 2) the pictures of the Pyrs at the end. The pictures of Steph's Pyrs reminded me of our Great Pyreenes that we had to put down due to disease a few years ago. :cry:

29. Is there any video of it? My mom is a huge fan, but missed 'em.

I e-mailed her Monday to be sure to watch, but her local radio station carries it on a delay, so she thought it was on MSNBC at the same time as her radio station was playing it. Oops. Anyway, I said I'd try to find some video caps or something. Any TiVo it or put some segments on YouTube yet? (Oh, god...trying to get my mom to figure out how YouTube works could be an adventure all by itself!)
