Iced Tea Spiked with LSD Found at Tea Party Rally

A group of hippies, outraged that the Tea Party Movement is advertising their Saturday protest rally in Sen. Harry Reid’s hometown of Searchlight, Nevada as a conservative Woodstock, decided to teach Palin and her cronies a lesson they’d not soon forget.

Disguising themselves as conservatives, tucking their long locks up into camouflage ballcaps, and spouting anti-Obama expletives, several older hippies infiltrated the rally and began spiking the community tea supply with real LSD.

Fortunately, only a handful of rallyers drank the tea before the prank was discovered. Of those who did trip out, it was like a scene right out of a Pink Floyd video. Joe and Marie Scottsman, a married couple in their 60’s began to strip off their clothes in front of everyone and declare to those around them that they were going to start an orgy and anyone who wanted to join in were free to do so.

Another elderly Tea Party follower was found wandering around in the surrounding desert collecting what he believed were moon rocks to sell when he got back to earth.

5. I take it . . . .
. . . this is a spoof? If not, too bad all the baggers didn't get spiked. That would have made for great video. (just kidding about the first part, but it would have made great video)/

9. LOL! I love the ending
"In the end, 47 tea partiers in all were being coaxed down by their conservative counterparts only to be told that they were now undesirable members because of their drug use, unintentional or not. Talk about a bad trip."

These people already make their own reality without any grasp of the world we live in.

16. Could you tell the difference?
Who knows? Getting dosed might actually normalize them. I can see the whole lot of them tripping their brains out and coming to the realization that they've been deluding themselves for decades.

21. FReepers are reporting this as news
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2481225/posts

I DON'T BELIEVE IT IS SATIRE - I think it is only made to look like satire so that they can continue to kill those that they believe are inferior to them.....I mean - those guys have super high IQs and us dumb Rednecks are just to damn stupid to know what's good for us.

So - I think that this is a true incident.

If this is true they should be charged with felonies.

Take it as true and file an official complaint. Even raising the alarm is a felony.

Making false police reports is a crime, also. They see everything through their own filters.

28. Glad it was satire
Last thing we need is a bunch of paranoid teabaggers armed with guns at an anti-government rally surrounded by armed riot cops having a bad trip. Wouldn't be good. Plus, as another poster noted, it's a waste of good acid.

32. I have a great Ken Kesey story for you:
I got to hang out with Kesey, Hunter S. Thompson and some other freaks one night at Kesey's house in Oregon. Kesey was entertaining us with story after story, but one I'll not forget was about the time he was working the door at an Acid Test show. He said this very straight-looking businessman was coming up the sidewalk. He stopped and asked Kesey what was going on. Kesey said it was a concert so the guy went on in. Several hours later Kesey saw the guy dancing like a mad-man and saying over and over, "I am the shadow king." He'd obviously partaken in some of the koolaide. Kesey commented that he wondered what became of the guy after that experience, that it might have changed his life trajectory.
