Glenn Beck has an open mind about Global Warming people, and he's discovered some amazing stuff.

Just saw him on CNN Headline news previewing his "Exposed: A Climate of Fear" show that's on tonight. I think Robin Mead was interviewing him about it, and boy did she ask some hard-hitting stuff.

Beck went into "An Inconvenient Truth" with an open mind, and "came out with notes". He told his producers "If this is accurate, I need to get a Prius by the end of the week" (Robin chuckled at that point).
BUT GUESS WHAT??? HE FOUND OUT THAT THE 450,000 YEAR GRAPH GORE USES IS A FRAUD!
That's right, Glenn zoomed in on it and discovered Temperature DOESN'T follow C02. No sir, CO2 FOLLOWS TEMPERATURE!

And Robin was particularily amazed to hear that 30 years ago "everybody" was talking about global cooling. Here again, Glenn has the goods. He's found headlines going all the way back into the 1800's, and it turns out this global warming/cooling/warming thing works on a 30 year cycle. We're on a 30 year cycle folks, so stop worrying!

Glenn has also found some real scientists who don't believe humans are causing globla warming. I think he's unintimidated by the "climate of fear" that "hollywood" has attempted to create. God bless him.

He said you'd have to be a complete nut job to not accept that the earth's temperature has risen .6 a degree.

He points out that scientists disagree on WHAT is causing it, and before we spend "trillions" trying to do something about it we need to just calmly consider that question.

The world is so lucky to have level-headed people like Glenn watching out for it.

I have a parent who is demanding that we show it as an alternative to "An Inconvenient Truth" which was already shown to the students. She is taping it tonight. After making myself watch it I have a lower opinion of him, not because we disagree on this issue, but because he is just another Rush Limbaugh. In fact he even looks like him.

This was a very biased report and the "science" he used along with scientists I got a chance to google all came from groups who deny that humans are causing warming which will be catastrophic. He agrees there is warming but apparently he doesn't think it is dangerous?????

Some of his scientists work for the oil industry, which he defended by pointing out that more money is spent on global warming than on research on Cancer! I don't understand how that justifies his experts being funded by big oil but he seems to think it makes sense.

This guy is a kook. Luckily he used words like "damn" and "crap" in the program so maybe I can keep the parent busy editing the piece for middle school consumption until school gets out. If it gets to be an issue I will show it and use it as a teaching moment by letting the students debate the two films. They usually pick these things out...kids are smarter than you think.

Oh, he ended with the "fact" that the only thing that will stop global warming is capitalism.......fox meet hen-house. Basically this was a total waste of my time, 50 minutes I will never get back.

My concern is here. Even at this liberal website, threads complaining about high gas prices dramatically outnumber threads complaining about global warming, which oddly enough is partially caused by excessive consumption of oil.
