Her appearance in Arizona was the lead story on this morning's edition of the Today Show. In my view, she presented herself at the level of a foolish ninth-grader. In the clip, she began by screeching "Arizona, do you love your freedom?" and the assembled Palinists broke into a cheer. Apparently her remark carries the implication that the Democrats want to take away freedom, but I think that the swing voters are going to be repulsed by such inane antics. The rest of the clip showed her flaying her arms as she delivered disjointed remarks. There was no coherent message which I could discern. However, I was disturbed by the analysis which Chris Mathew provided following the clip. Mathews' opinion was that Palin is a major political force. I can not see how any serious political commentator could regard Plain as anything other than a ridiculous excuse for a politician.
