Great Statement from Reid about Teabagger Rally in his Hometown! |
|
CNN just reported Reid made a statement saying he was grateful to all those who came to Searchlight to spend their money cause the economy there needs it but the election will be decided by locals and not those who parachute in for a day.
Good one, Harry! Us locals appreciate that!

2. Reporter misinformed about Searchlight NV |
|
I watched the Rally.....Palin was fighting the Nevada wind...so much for her hairdo.
The reporter spoke about the traffic congestion on I-95 leading up to Searchlight (didn't say from which direction).
What he did not say was: 95 is not an interstate highway. The highway is one of the major arteries between Nevada and Arizona. The road is ALWAYS clogged with traffic. Spring Break started Friday P.M. for Nevada. Searchlight is a town on the way to somewhere else. The highway goes through the town. There is a flashing light to caution you to slow down as you pass through Searchlight. Wonderful people live in Searchlight. Harry Reid was in North Las Vegas, opening up a shooting range with a lot of NRA people and local dignitaries.

4. Glad it wasn't next weekend. |
|
I'm driving through there w/my gf and her kids.
A co-worker of hers was supposed to be going to Searchlight to see what all the hubbub was about. Be interesting to hear what she thought on Monday.

7. I still like 'teabagger' cause it irritates them and points out they don't know how to use |
|
the urban dictionary before choosing their monikers.

9. Most of them have no clue what the urban dictionary is or the meaning therein |
|
They're typically older male and I'd bet you a million dollars they only use their computers to post Nancy Pelosi jokes at freeperville.

11. Might have to go with that. Hate to give up the visuals of teabagging but that's compelling. |
|
