CNN reporting that the Democrats LOST.
Edited on Wed May-02-07 07:38 AM by spanone
What the fuck have the democrats lost? I'd say America lost and our soldiers lost, not the Democrats.

This guy John Roberts must be working for Karl Rove. He's pathetic.

10. Maybe they will. They certainly don't serve the people's interest.

Put any Amurkin News show up against one of their European counterparts.

It's sad and disgusting to watch what passes for news in the US.

18. I think that Americas perception of what passes for News is changing...

What was that phrase about fooling all of the people all of the time?

I think that the nutcase GOPigs will always be nutcases regardless of who reports the news to them, but I also believe that more people have woken up to the fact that they are being lied to constantly.

5. The conflict
between the congress and the executive office is in an early phase. For 6 years, Bush and Cheney have not had to deal with congress in any meaningful way. The new congress may contest the imperial presidency, in large part because of the democratic majority.

21. They have however already made statements saying Bush* will get what he wants
Democrats have said they will send money for the troops in a clean bill for Bush* and start to target how Iraq is spending their money....Caved immediately just as they have for six long years...

6. That is the way the media is portraying this thing
Nothing mentioned about bu$h veto of funds to support troops. Just that the Democrats didn't give bu$h what he wanted.
WHAAAAA!

13. I don't think that there is anything that the News shows can do
Edited on Wed May-02-07 08:20 AM by MUAD_DIB
to help themselves or the GOPigs any longer. The majority of the US is fed up and know that they have been lied to.
The 06 election proved that, and 08 isn't going to be kind at all.

In fact the only way that the NewsCorps could help the GOP is to blackout the Dems altogether.

Edited for spellin...

17. I think that whatever they intend to pull in 07-08 they have

already thought it through.

Maybe another terrrerrrist attack?

Maybe martial law just for the hell of it.

Call me what you will, but I believe that either Bush will flee the US or try to stay in power somehow.
It is a Dem win any way you cut it so what do they have to lose?

Will the Dems just decide that since * is out of power that investigations are no longer needed?

I don't believe that it will be that easy.

* is still a snake with one fang. We should all take care to remember that.

Looks like the people are solidly behind the dems
(at least as far as their own polls go)

9. CNN Courted the Right, Conceded Credibility
I think that we DU'ers know what happened, I suspect that many CNN reporters and editors know what happened, but I doubt that the senior CNN corporate honchos know what happened.

When CNN and the other cable news networks decided to "broaden" their focus and start catering to the demands of the Radical Right, they gave up much of their credibility when they started mimicking right-wing attitudes or trying to show a "balanced" (i.e. slanted to the right) perspective.

The corporate MSM has chosen to toady to the Radical Right. They've lost their credibility to curry favor with Bushbots and a demographic that prefers Newscorp's Faux Spews anyway.

11. You know we can make a big big difference
Call, write, email, over and over to your senator your representative. Tell them to initiate the Fairness Doctrine again. Tell them it is time we made the MSM the non-partisian enity it should be. Then and only then can we get the message out there to the American People. Let's do it. Let's show the republicans that the democrats are winning, and that they are winning for the American people and most of all the TROOPS who should be brought home.

I can't stand him. His tone is always like that--that the Democrats are losers, etc etc! I wonder what he'll say when the next president is a Democrat!

19. And up is down, and black is white
and the moon is green cheese, and the Dick of Death is really the Tooth Fairy.

If CNN reports something about the Misadministration, you can usually figure out the truth by assuming the opposite of what they say.
