1. I saw it
What a great ad. I forgot that I was watching Heroes for a minute and thought I was tuned to LOGO. It was a very pleasant surprise.

Nice backhand slap at eHarmony, too, which is always a good thing in my book.

5. Please recommend
I think this should go onto the "Recommended" page. It underscores the discrimination that gay people still face; recommending will help get this clip to a wider audience.

12. I did too
I had no idea where this was going and then the punchline.

I didn't ,nor need to, know that dating service on-line things didn't cater to gays as well. They can't write a program for that???

17. They could but the pseudo-Christians get their drawers in a wad when they see it
It's all part of their it's an "aberation and not naturual" crapola.

For all I know they may be owned by pseudo-Christians.

But the creator of the site is a conservative Christian. Nuff said.

Edit: Guess other people beat me to the punch! :)

19. Try finding a site that allows bisexuals
Edited on Wed May-02-07 10:31 AM by Der Blaue Engel
Oh, sure, you can identify as bi on some of them, but you'd better choose which one you "really" like and get off the damn fence. And if you're polyamorous? Fuggedaboutit. You're just a cheater. :eyes:

Lots of subtle ways that non-straights face discrimination that you wouldn't think about unless you were living it. It's changing, but slowly.

ETA: "Try finding a site that allows bisexuals"...including chemistry.com! :banghead:

21. Actually, OKCupid allows for it
Most of my poly family and friends are on that and there is a lot of poly and bi hooking up going on. I'm not really interested in expanding my dating circle any more so I stay away.

24. I'm on that, but I guess I need to take a closer look at it
It seems that it's only letting me seek one gender, but maybe it's just sending me the matches, and only one gender happens to be matching. Maybe I did something wrong.

I hate their spots, I hate their service and I really hate their creepy founder. If I was looking, I'd go to chemistry.com. Thanks for posting!

29. Wait a minute. WHAT was "gay"?
The guy's words were, "Nope. Still gay."

That did not necessarily mean him. It could have meant the particular cheesy non-nude, non-porn, girls-in-bikinis-and-sneering, full-of-lifestyle-stuff-you-can-buy men's magazine he was reading, that he discarded.

Frankly, I think magazines like Maxim are "gay."
