KKK Go Away!

When I was a kid, the Klan got a permit to hold a rally in the small town where I lived. The residents of the town were disgusted and posters and fliers saying "KKK Go Away" were posted throughout the town. It ended up being a very small rally-maybe 10-20 Klansmen, but the crowd shouting "KKK GO AWAY!" was much larger.

The Tea Party Hatriots ARE the Klan. They may not wear sheets but that is the only difference. We all know that. So, I have a proposal. I am going to post the locations from the Tea Party Express website of the rallies they have scheduled. If you live in, or near, one of these locations post some fliers and/or banners saying "KKK Go Away" and "Tea Party Hatriots=KKK" throughout the town in the days leading up to the rally. Write a letter to the newspaper comparing these hatriots to the Klan and express your disgust that they are coming to your town to try to influence your elections. Perhaps you could even organize a "KKK Go Away!" counter-rally.

2. FYI.. the "Detroit" rally is about 20 miles north of Detroit.

I am pretty sure I can get a group to counter protest. I went the the "Coffee Party" meeting 2 weeks ago (although I missed today's) and there were plenty of people who want nothing more than to confront those morons.
