What are the drug laws in the Us via a vi pot seeds? |
I've always known Vancouver was / is a pot haven. At least compared to the US (see the recent Walmart incident). If you walk downtown often you will smell pot on some street corner or another every other day almost. It's as good as legalized even though technically it isn't. You can still get arrested for smoking and possession if you for some reason want to make some public stink about it. Otherwise cops would much rather look the other way. We've had a number of pot rallies where people got together and smoked openly. People growing plants at home is not uncommon. That doesn't mean that large pot busts don't happen here, they do but it's more than anything to keep up appearances and take out some of the really big operations. Still I was surprised to see the other day a store downtown advertising marijuana seeds for sale. I see that this is a loophole in the laws here, lol. Is this also the case anywhere in the states.

1. They're considered, at the very least, the same as pot, and in some contexts |
they will try and use the seeds as an excuse to charge the person with cultivation and conspiracy to deliver.
It's fascist crapfest that's been going on for decades here, and it needs to stop.

5. I suspect some type of dirty backrrom deal was struck betwen our 2 countries.... |
The US has been after him for a long time but most people never thought that he would actually be arrested or extradited. The hight of the screaming from across the border to arrest him occurred I believe during the last 1/2 of the Bush admin. There was a LOT of pressure put on law enforcement from drug war people in the US to do something. I suspect that some dirty deal was cut somewhere :(
