The March to Assasination 1968

March 28, 1968

Martin Luther King, Jr., leads a march of striking sanitation workers in Memphis, Tenn. Violence during the march persuades him to return the following week to Memphis, where he was assassinated - 1968

And this:

March 28, 1968 - The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., led a march by striking sanitation workers in Memphis, Tennessee. They carried signs stating, “I am a man.” Violence at the march persuaded King to return to Memphis the following week. On April 4, 1968, after speaking to the strikers, he was assassinated. 1. For this man to give his life so that other could have dignity would
probably create great sadness for him if he could see what NAFTA is doing to workers.

2. COINTELPRO is ancient history, thanks to Corporate McPravda...
For instance: The Washington Post's new blogger Ben Domenech repeated the smear that Coretta King was a communist.

Property is really important to some people. Thanks, Omaha Steve, for reminding us of a man who put service to others ahead of his own interests.
