Sunday Morning Chuckle
So, last night (Saturday), I came home from a friends house at around 11pm. The local news was on the TV- my husband and I think maybe the TV being on keeps our dogs from freaking out. Anyway, my husband had left basketball on when he left the house, so by the time I got home, the local "infotainment" was on (Oklahoma news is weird).

Anyway, I was in my garage, putting laundry in the dryer, when suddenly, my smallest dog began freaking out. I couldn't see the TV, or really hear exactly what was on, but I heard a high pitched voice-it sounded like shrieking kids, actually. But my dog went bananas. I ran up to the living room, where lo and behold, my dog was staring at the TV from his perch on the couch, hackles raised, snarling and barking at...Sarah Palin.

Priceless.

4. Well that voice.
And probably on some primordial level your dog understands the threat the voice represents to all life on earth.

5. I know a guy that is kind of a weasel. Nice enough to hang
around with but you can't trust him all the time. We go fishing and other stuff.
Almost any time we go somewhere where there is a dog he has trouble. I can go right by the dog or make friends with it or make it back off if it seems aggressive. He has no chance. He will end up staying outside the fence or whatever, till the dogs owner gets control, so he's safe.
It may be fear of dogs. I don't really know but the dogs know something.

6. Even babies know...
A couple weeks ago, I was at a family gathering and was holding my 2 month-old great-granddaughter, who was sound asleep. One of the family members mentioned Sarah Palin in conversation. As soon as he said her name, the baby's arms flew straight out and her hands spread wide open. She didn't even wake up when we laughed.

A couple minutes later, another family member walked up to see what we were laughing at. Her father was telling her what had happened and, as soon as he said Sarah Palin, the baby's arms and hands flew up and stayed there as in fright. Once again, she continued to sleep through the laughter.

Her father said, "We've got ourselves a true Democrat!"

9. Reminds me of the Terminator
Where the humans use dogs to alert them to the presence of the terminators. You got a good dog there.
