We had had universal healthcare for 70 years. We had a republican president and congress right now who was trying to change our health care to a system where we pay private insurance companies, who will be for profit... for our health care.
In the bill it says
1. the existence of pre-existing conditions
2. it's tied to employment in most cases
3. you can be denied
4. you can lose your insurance at any time

How many people do you think would be want to go from a universal healthcare system to private insurance??

They can raise your rates whenever they choose. They can pick and choose which services they are willing to pay for. You still have to pay the majority of your bills because they only pay a percentage of what you owe.
