Just sayin'.

It's been Tornado alerts, warnings, watches. Torrential rains (my lot is flooded), hail the size of base balls they say (I don't know how big that is, but they keep saying it) frightening thunderstorms, mobile homes moved and set back down on the mobile home of the neighbor; I'm talking serious state wide weather problems.

It crossed NC from the SW to the SE and we will undoubtedly be looking at sad destruction tomorrow.

I was in the middle of some of it for a while, and am grateful I was spared.

For a few nail-biting hours I was too busy to worry about Babs Bush in the hospital, possibly having another baby.....just finding additional reasons for gratitude...

It went from an projected 2-5 inches of rain to 4-8.

Here we go again. Another lovely 3 day storm.

4. Hi. Glad you made it through too...
It passed through here too. Spartanburg area. A long line of TS. Hail in my yard was maybe quarter size. Don't know how much damage was done yet. :hi:

7. And to think, It's Margarita's in the courtyard here
North Carolina always did have weird weather. I remember 8" of snow one day with my neighbor making snow Angles on the lawn followed by 80 degree weather the next day. We don't do things like that in California. We just meander on from season to season.

of the seasons in CA.

13. Glad that you made it through the storm OK.
If you happen to see what I just said in response to another post about NC, I didn't mean you.

I saw that homeowners in NC want the government to buyout their property due to flooding and I assumed that it was about the million dollar playhouses on the Outer Banks.

Sorry if there was any confusion on my part.

16. I heard that too! thought it was a plane crash at first
I'm in Cary. That was truly the loudest thunder I've ever heard. Car alarms throughout the neighborhood went off. But I don't think we got anything like the folks north of Charlotte got.

18. I woke up to find out I
was in a tornado warning. The only thing worse would be a Sarah Palin warning. I didn't blowed away. Hope it isn't too bad your way when all is said and done.
