Everyone knows that reactionaries WILL make plans for after the revolution, such as the current corporate takeover of society. That will leave the pure souls living in a post-revolution fascist state, like they did under Napoleon and the Reign of Terror.

The revolutionaries will eventually become that which they were revolting against in the first place and then a new crop of revolutionaries will emerge. That's how I've always seen it. Summed up in the last panel. Of course, the teabaggers aren't revolutionaries. They already are the controlling power in this country, essentially.

There is no freedom to allow a company large enough to deserve to exist not to make a profit. If there is any danger that regulation would force a company into the red, then the State will mandate that citizens purchase that company's product, or selectively subsidize that company's product in order to put smaller suppliers out of business and prevent the larger company from going under.
