Rep. Eric Cantor threatened (no, really!)
from Talking Points Memo

A 33-year-old Philadelphia man was charged today with threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) in a profanity-strewn Youtube video that has since been pulled down.

In the video, Norman Leboon says Cantor will "receive my bullets in your office, remember they will be placed in your heads. You and your children are Lucifer's abominations."

The San Francisco office of the FBI received a copy of the video on March 26, according to the affidavit in the case. You can read the press release and affidavit on the case here.

The affidavit paints a picture of Leboon as a deeply disturbed person. When he was visited by federal agents on Saturday, he "stated that he is the 'son of the god of Enoch' and that his father speaks through him. Leboon stated that Eric Cantor is 'pure evil'; will be dead; andthat Cantor's family is suffering because of his father's wrath."

Why do I think this isn't going to fit into the Republicans' narrative about threats from liberals?

5. Not him specifically...
...but after the weekend threats/bricks/faxes/curses on Democrats supporting HCR, the Republicans tried to run out and say that liberal activists were being just as mean to them.

11. Standard False Equivalence Bushiganda Op
It's so much easier for them because the Corporate M$M is so thoroughly neutralized by the RW Lie Machine, almost to the point of following their lead.

6. His motivation looks like delusion, not politics . . .
He probably just happened to hear Cantor on the TV machine while the voices were talking in his other ear . . .

10. 2000 videos and the story comes out just after Cantor's lying looks too obvious.
Friday dump includes that Cantor's bullet ridden office, oh, I mean his campaign PR firm office, oh, I mean their outer office, oh, one bullet pumped through the glass, oh, police say it wasn't shot through the window it was shot in the air randomly probably from a mile away, because he's Jewish and those liberals hate him, oh, it was random you say, but he needed to call 911, oh, he couldn't swear to his own statements to the 911 operator he made those statements to that his statements were true.

Couple days later, he's being hounded to death by a video threat, oh, the guy has 2,000 video threats on Youtube, and it's just today it got noticed... Oh, oh my!

HAD TO REPEAT THIS, MY POST, FROM ANOTHER THREAD.

Very suspicious timing indeed.

8. Well, if that's how they want to play...
I'm sure they will need to prosecute those who practice criminal threats against Democrats as well. They've set the precedent now...

9. Sounds like a typical liberal to me....If only Cantor would talk with him
and try to make him understand the Republican philosophy... maybe we all could just get along.
