its not exactly a "strip club" and its certainly not priced like a typical strip club. From info on the web, it looks like you can spend a lot of money very quickly on "bottle service" (one comment suggested there was a $200/minimum; another indicated that two bottles could run over a grand).

mentioned - bottle service. That's a classic way of raking in money at establishments like this.

My husband used to work for Visa and one time got a call from a gentleman who had gone to a similar place, only this one was in France or Italy (can't remember exactly). When he got the bill it was for six hundred or so dollars, for just one bottle of what he described as cheap shit champagne. He got into a dispute over the bill with the management which resulted in several large gentlemen appearing at his side to "encourage" him to pay. So the guy whipped out the Visa card, signed, but wrote "signed under protest". When he got his next bill the charge was on it from the club. He called his bank who basically said not our problem man, call Visa. The guy said that he had read in one of the travel magazines that if he stipulated "signed under protest" he could contest the charge and it would be wiped out. It was my husband's job to tell him that he was very sorry but that was not the case. Had he in fact visited said establishment? Yes. Had he presented his Visa card for the charge? Yes. Had the Visa card been accepted? Yes. Had he signed the charge slip? Well, yes. So sorry - you are on the hook for the really expensive bottle of mediocre champagne. Caller was not happy.

I'm guessing the bill from the bondage joint was much the same - a couple of bottles of "expensive" champagne for a few of the girls, who more than likely drank ginger ale instead, really upping the management's take.

i've also heard quoted one bottle of grey goose, one bottle of cristal for $500, but whatever...you don't just buy one or two bottles for your table, it usually does end up being a couple thousand dollars or more before the night is over
