and sweet) that he got in the link I saw no evidence of in the video. I am not a mean person and try to help those in need....it's the numbers not the people that scares me. And, for the immigrants, in time, it could mean they are jumping out of the frying pan into the fire!

sense says that there's no way our economy, especially now with so many of our jobs outsourced, can sustain the surge of immigration we are experiencing. In an ideal world, we could have open borders, but he's right -- open immigration isn't the answer to helping all the third world countries. We have to find a better solution.

Edited to add: I worry that this will be our Achilles heel in '08, even more so than abortion, guns, etc.

The reply above yours seems to think it is. I didn't hear racial references, just numbers, over whelming numbers. You're right we have to find a better solution.....after all there are big reasons the poor in the world leave their homes to come here...survival. And, what can we do to help them in their home countries?

What about their children? US CITIZENS? It's IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of the illegal immigrants that are already here.

the fault lies with our government for not enforcing the laws in the 1st place.
