Fabulous presentation on what's happened to American businesses and the economy since Reagan - this was a real eye-opener on business consolidation and the rise of monopolies in the US. Did you know, for example, that in spite of the dizzying array of toothpastes on our shelves, there are only 2 manufacturers of toothpaste in America? And we call this "competition" and "consumer choice"? He aslso discusses the transformation of each of us from being an American citizen into consumers. Excellent, well worth your time to give it a view.

"Cornered" by Barry Lynn, presentation by the author at the New America Foundation - "Barry Lynn talked about the power of business monopolies in the 21st Century and explained why he thinks they are bad for the U.S. He spoke at the New America Foundation in Washington, D.C." 52 minutes
