"The will of politicians should never be imposed on troops in the field"
Excuse me but I was always under the impression that power flows from the bottom up in the United States, not down from the top. The military is responsible to the civilian government of this nation and not vice versa. This administration is the most corrupt in history and if the Dems fail to call for impeachment then they are equally culpable in the situation as it is.

1. Everytime I hear one of the Bush Republic pols in Congress parrot Little Boots
I want to be able to point out that Smirk and Snarl are politicians, and Congress is also, and they HAVE BEEN imposing their will on the troops for several years now.

2. Which is precisely why
Bush shouldn't be forcing troops to stay there against every recommendation of vets and generals.

3. When did Bush enlist in the military and become a general? He is the ultimate politican who has been
misusing an abusing the US military since the day he took office or maybe, the day he went AWOL.

4. And if Clinton would have said that to the Repuke congress in the 90s,
you would have heard constant barrages of the duty and the obligations of Congress to protect the military on Faux News ...
