Maybe I listen because I want to know what the other side is up to.

Maybe I listen in the hopes that some caller will get thru to the mindless drool-dripping mouth-breeders that use Rush like an addict uses crack.

Maybe I listen because it make it easy for me to identify and knock down the Rush talking points at the PTA meeting.

Maybe it's because it's the only frickin option I have.

I commute almost an hour each way from Newport News, VA to VA Beach. I'd love to just sit back and crank out some Green Day, but when your only way in and out of a city is by one of two tunnels, a good traffic report comes in handy. The only stations that provide decent weather and traffic reports happen to be wing-nut AM stations. I'd like to know if the massive traffic jam I'm approaching is just a back-up due to volume, or am I going to be stuck here for 3 hours because someone broke down in the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. My choices are the station with Rush' show, or the one with Glen Beck.
