Is there any effort whatsoever being put into ending bush's wars?
Or have Americans just sighed and accepted the endless wars? The president popped by Afghanistan, the largest U.S. embassy on the planet is still in Baghdad, no one EVER talks about a light at the end of the tunnel, or an exit strategy or exit date, what gives?

Also, what the hell happened to the anti war movement?

6. I know what you mean... I've been in this state of unhappiness so long
I'm not sure I remember what it feels like otherwise. :(

We stand and watch as the MIC pisses away another trillion of our tax dollars ... with barely a whimper.

For my small part, I'm not going to vote for anyone who supports a corporate agenda - but what good does that do when there's little to no choice within our corporate duopoly?

It's over, The People Lost. :(

4. The mic is more powerful than ever - there are more mercenaries than troops over there...
U.S. wars are all about friends of our leaders making shitloads of money. Obama seems no different when it comes to unnecessary wars.

8. Don't forget that Obama has greatly increased the war in Pakistan.
Obama has dramatically escalated and expanded the use of drones to carry out his war in Pakistan.

We are just getting started in Afghanistan. Kandahar in June.

I'll believe we are leaving Iraq when I see the deadline met.

War by Democrats is in service to a kinder gentler empire, so really these people in Afghanistan had such a tough time of it, that this is really an improvement.

19. Myself and others warned everyone here on DU that Obama would push for endless wars
-during the primaries.

I can't believe that so many DUers are ignoring Obama's warmongering and how he allows the genocide to continue in Iraq, Afghanistan AND Pakistan!
