Freeps swoon over Harris Poll claiming Palin would "narrowly" beat Obama in West, Midwest in 2012
The post:

Harris Poll: Sarah Palin Leads Vs Obama or Romney
Governor Palin 4 President ^

Posted on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 7:46:11 AM by MaxCUA

If the election were held today, Sarah Palin would carry the Western if her opponents were Democrat Barack Obama or Republican Mitt Romney, according to a Harris Interactive poll released Monday.

Sarah Palin would also carry the Southern & finish 2nd to Mitt Romney in the Midwestern, according to Harris. Obama leads only in the Northeastern.

The responses:

They run it as a 3 way race.

If you add Palin and Romney's numbers together they blast Obama out of the water.

That's why the posted it as a 3 way race.

If the election were held today, Sarah Palin would narrowly carry the Western United States as a third party candidate if her opponents were Democrat Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney, according to a Harris Interactive poll released Monday.

Palin would also carry the Southern United States and finish second to Mitt Romney in the Midwestern United States, according to Harris.

Obama leads only in the Northeastern United States, Harris says.

Nationwide, Obama would get 45 percent, Romney 24 and Palin 18.

By region:

West: Palin 24, Obama 22, Romney 21

South: Palin 36, Romney 35, Obama 31

Midwest: Romney 25, Palin 22, Obama 21

Northeast: Obama 26, Romney 20, Palin 18

Palin has encouraged Tea Party members to affiliate with a major party and has given no recent indication she is interested in running for president as a third party or independent candidate.

She spoke to Tea Party supporters over the weekend in Nevada. She will continue to make appearances in the West, including a June 25 speech at California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock.

Palin, 46, is a Fox News commentator, former governor of Alaska and the 2008 Republican party nominee for vice president of the United States.

1. Let's face it
We could use a three party candidate running. They would end up spliting the vote again, like they have done so many times before.

7. Maybe they're talking about Best Western?
But then again, I'm sure Sarah has never stayed in a Motel that the commoners frequent.

13. That's probably right.
I mean, I hate to say it...but among those three if I had to hole up in a Best Western, Sarah would be my default choice. So I can see why she'd be popular in a motel...especially among Republicans when she's wearing her Mistress Sarah clown suit.

11. If you limit the west to Utah, Arizona and Idaho, maybe
because I can't see anyone else falling for that woman's bullshit and I certainly don't see the GOP outnumbering Democrats 2:1 anywhere but those three states.

In any case, polls right now are on name recognition, only, and Palin is being pushed relentlessly by the corporate media.

12. To All The Righties Who Think Palin Can Win, I Say This........
..................PLEASE make her the Republican nominee in 2012!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go out and vote for her in your primaries!!! I'll do anything. I'll send each and every one of you lovely fruit baskets if you just make this happen. PLEASE nominate the political version of the Washington Generals!!!

But don't stop there. Send Sarah Palin into the ring to fight Manny Pacquiao. She can beat him too. Line Sarah Palin up across from Larry Fitzgerald. She can probably cover him. Enter Sarah Palin in the Indy 500. She'll beat the entire field. WITHOUT a car! On FOOT!!!

The more these righties delude themselves into thinking Sarah Palin can get more than 10 electoral votes, the better our chances of seeing Obama win re-election in a landslide that would make Walter Mondale snicker.

14. Governor?? Palin??

Failin never made it to the finish line and is not entitled to be referred to as Governor.

She quit on her own volition. She essentially told the voters who elected her to fugoff
because she thought she could make more money elsewhere. She never really had the credentials
or the expertise required for the job anyhow.

18. I wish this poll included the education level of those polled.
My bet is that those who were least educated would tend to support Palin, while the most educated and more intelligent people would vote for Obama.
