1. Thus the only reason Sen. Bitch McConnell made comments
yesterday about finding a senate compromise on benchmarks. He is holding his caucus together by a string and can't not do it much longer.

I don't see a lot of the R's being in big trouble, maybe Norm Coleman & Susan Collins. Same for the Dems.

Of course, we have no idea who most of their opponents will be.
