Bush: "I wouldn't put our kids in harm's way"

The terrorists will continue to fight back. In other words, they understand what they're doing. And casualties are likely to stay high. Yet, day by day, block by block, we are steadfast in helping Iraqi leaders counter the terrorists, protect their people, and reclaim the capital. And if I didn't think it was necessary for the security of the country, I wouldn't put our kids in harm's way.

who told Monkey King that hundred of thousands of troops would be needed to secure Baghdad and Iraq.

They're on their own!

6. That's the problem: "day by day, block by block"
So after they gain control this way, then what? When can we leave when, as the CinC likes to say, the fighting will restart if we leave. That makes the surge more like a quagmire.

Or ask limbaugh or hannity or any of the fucking scum talkers on faux who get paid to lie. These are the people who are deathly afraid of the fairness doctrine because they know they can't make a living any other way, except maybe at the presitigious heritage foundation, another joke of the right.

12. Things are looking up...
...I've heard a couple of TV talking heads use the word delusional too ~ that wouldn't have happened a few months ago. I think we should continue to contact our Senators and Congresspeople about impeachment and not backing down. Maybe we should ask them to please find their balls and ovaries! haha

11. You're all missing the most important part--it's now "terrorism",
NOT insurgency. That's the newest classification of Iraq violence. Therefore, we become more sympathetic to the fight, because those poor people are undergoing 9/11's, every day! That's the kind of thinking Rove and Co. are trying to instill. It's insidious, but now it's the standard talking point.

15. By the way you sack of shit, they aren't "kids"; they are adults.
Children can't/don't make the kind of decisions servicemen and women routinely make everyday. Further clueless, they are men and women who have lives, hopes, dreams, plans. They are, all of them, sons and daughters, many of them, perhaps most, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers.

They are not characters in your ugly mind theater. They are not your 'kids'.

16. Since the End of Major Combat Operations all deaths in
Iraq are due to soldier error. Therefore, they are due to the inherent negligence of the troops.

Of course, what do I know? All Americans (and foreign nationals) who sign up for the military must be bloody murderous savages and are no doubt ignorant and should be used and ignored when injured.

Edited on Wed May-02-07 01:26 PM by tabasco
He joked about his own lies for starting the war so anybody who believes he gives a shit about our soldiers is delusional.

You know, the "liberal media" that Rush and Sean and Mikey use as their straw man in almost every single one of their tirades.
