3. Same for me.

Twas ever thus.

But I won't respond to the poll because I reject the premise "as dissappointing as he has been". I'm not disappointed - overall I'm very satisfied.

4. This is a dishonest push poll as many Americans, myself included
are very happy with President Obama.

5. Disappointing?
Quite the contrary.

Just because you don't agree with him on some of his decisions does not mean he is either disappointing or bad.

Keep helping those republicans with their case, but when they win, you need to shut the fuck up.

One can disagree while not trying to bring down the entire administration and right now, we need some solidarity to offset the actions from the right wing crazies and their army of metaphoric violence.

I refuse to vote in such polls.

Disappointing is misspelled in the OP title.

Flame away!

16. Sorry for the misspelling
Actually he's not that disappointing to me - I expected him to be a clinton-like middle of the roader and that's what he's been.

6. all i need to do is to imagine what life would be like with president mccain in office right now.
overall i am pleased with obama. he can't do it all himself and it seems the forces against change have very deep pockets. i can hope that the problems with the healthcare bill will be fixed though i am not going to hold my breath. but they did cut that middle man out of student loans which is a big deal. i am disgusted with family members who love sarah palin and act like the tea partiers. people who have benefitted from the system!! do they not even realize!! uggh.

11. Overall
Looking at the big picture and considering what he is up against I think he has done very well. I am more liberal than he so am going to be disappointed from time to time but still think he will likely become one of the great ones. His temperament when under fire is astonishing. He also has class which is a rarity for a politician these days.

14. This is like asking 'is it better than a poke in the eye with a sharp
stick' Sure. But that is not saying much. Disappointment is better than despair.

21. Hardly the point. I think we should aim higher than "Better than any Republican"
Pushing Republican memes with a Democratic face isn't really all that great anyway.

23. Where would I be shot or stabbed?
I mean shot in the shoulder would suck but i'd probably come back from it. Shot in the stomach would be the worst i guess.
